A very handy app for the vegetable gardener. Useful, concise information. The only reason I did not give it five stars us because there is no information on companion planting. You could add a section to each veggie for best and worst companions. Then it would be a five star app.

Until I turned my iPad off and then back on ! Very strange.

Total cash grab. This is nothing more than a few Wikipedia articles stitched together. Offers absolutely nothing more than a simple google search could provide. Terrible!

For any grower (novice or expert) this is a great guide for creating prize winning vegatbles of your own.

Above and beyond the information regarding how and when to plant - which is easy to access - Im a big fan of the fact that there are images of all the veggies in the app. Why? Lets just say that there are times when Im in the store with a shopping list of veggies. Sometimes I may not know what Im looking for. This gives me the ability to quickly pull up that veggie, see a picture of it, and figure out what Im looking for.

Great app but to be worth the price I would like to see the ability through GPS to identify which plants I can grow in my area.

For $2 I need way more information. Starting with "days until harvest". I would really appreciate a picture of the plant itself, not just the finished product. Companion planting would be nice to see, too.

How is Thyme not listed? And Id like more info based on GPS/Weather.

Not much use unless you know nothing. Could be better w GPS location for your zone. Needs a lot more detail. Good interface.

Need a function to add my own notes. Then perfect app

Tells you the same information that comes with the plant. Needs more photos and certainly a whole lot more info.

Just installed this app. Its a beautiful display except for one thing as far as I can see so far....needs a major improvement on scrolling. I have to hold onto the scroll to see the bottom of the page on my iPad. As soon as I lift my finger off the iPad screen it pops back to the top of the page. If you can fix the scrolling problem, I will come back I here and give it a 5 Star rating.

I am unable to get to all the vegetables listed as the app will not scroll down on my iPad. I want to learn about tomatoes and I cant get to them. Would get 5 stars if I could scroll, 2 for now until it is fixed.

This app has great potential but it will not scroll on my iPad. Will give it more stars once they fix this.

Just crashes repeatedly

...for this to be really useful to me the users notes function needs to be improved. Youre limited in how much you can write because you cannot scroll the text in that small space. I bought this because I needed an app that would let me put in notes about particular varieties and local conditions. Otherwise, the app does provide solid info for the general gardener. It needs to be upgraded to take advantage of the iPads capabilities.

Nicely done. Needs more items including fruits. Where are the brussel sprouts?

having it in my pocket when im in the garden has been very helpful. whether your new to gardening, or have been doing it for years you will find this app helpful.

Good concept but it needs a lot more fruits and veggie plants in the list.
